The food was on another level. In my opinion, it was worth the price. The food was well-seasoned and plentiful. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area. The only thing I'm sad about is the small mistakes that were made with our takeout food order. They offered to make it right, but unfortunately, we live two hours away. PSA - Check your order before leaving (that applies to any restaurant).

Went here with family after visiting friend in the area. When we walked in there was no one there to great us. We got seated, I did have reservations but I was not asked. The food was very well done. The rice and black bean sauce. OMG Yum. Portion size was great. The server was attentive, nice. The atmosphere not so great, seemed like it's a work in progress. We sat in the back. I did enjoy the music playing. Had a little issue with not getting a meal we ordered to go(found out it was missing when we got home 2hrs later). They were not able to reimburse our payment. I lived too far to pick it up the forgotten meal.

★★★★★ This year, my friend Gabby “Liric” told me, “Thia, you need to try the legume at Kalalou Bar & Grill FLL.” I did, and wow, it was amazing! I loved the size of the restaurant, the beautiful corner location, the ample parking, and the generous food portions. After the pop up, a few friends stayed with me so we could sit, relax, and enjoy almost half of the menu. We tried the grilled whole snapper, accra, marinades, spicy griot bites, goat, grilled conch, lalo cooked with beef, and bouyon. Everything was flavorful, beautifully presented, and satisfying. But that lalo! Rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The service was also wonderful. Everyone welcomed us with a beautiful smile. Kalalou Bar & Grill FLL, you earned these five stars. Great vibes, great food, even better service! Shoutout to Martelli for being so friendly and attentive. Food came out fast, passion fruit drink was 🔥, and the stew goat did NOT disappoint. Definitely recommend!
